Nothing lasts forever and our roofs are no exception. The roof, whether it’s for a commercial building or a residence, plays a vital role in maintaining the overall integrity of the structure. It’s better and more efficient to replace a roof before the rain starts falling through than after. Garliss Roofing is a Wilson roof installation contractor with a good track record, and we can help.
We aim to provide excellent work and superior customer service on every job. A look at what our customers say about us will tell anyone that our track record is pretty good.
What to expect during the Roof Installation process
Getting a new roof can make a property more secure, attractive, and valuable in the event the owner decides to sell. There’s also no getting around the fact that it can be disruptive to one’s daily life. Garliss Roofing aims to reduce the disruption as much as possible, and part of that comes with making sure our customers know what to expect.
Dealing with Insurance Claims
If the reason for the installation is damage by the most recent storm, there’s a good chance that insurance will cover it. At Garliss Roofing, we can handle the claim process, from the phone calls to the paperwork.
Removing the Old Roof
All materials down to the plywood have to be removed from the old roof. As part of this process, our Wilson roof installation contractor will inspect the wood that the roof rests on. If the wood is damaged, even putting on a new roof won’t stop leaks. We make sure a customer’s new roof is being placed on a strong foundation.
The vents and gutters aren’t part of the roof per se, nor are they part of the installation. They still have to be checked. A lack of ventilation can shorten the lifespan of a new roof. So can the water backups that are caused by substandard gutters.
Protecting the Property
There’s no getting around the fact that roof installation is going to mean falling debris. Part of beginning the installation process includes steps like protective tarps that will protect the property surrounding the structure. Everything from gardens to outdoor patios needs to be protected.
The interior of the structure is not always exempt from the problem of falling debris. We’ll work with the property owner to help secure any areas inside the home or building that are either vulnerable or valuable.
Daily Life Adjustments
We’d love to complete the roof installation in a single day and sometimes that’s possible. But every project is different, and the time range can extend out for a couple of weeks. We work hard to alleviate distractions, but no contractor can entirely eliminate disruptive noise.
It’s a good idea for customers—especially those who may work at home—to figure out where they’ll work or where kids will study while the installation is ongoing. At Garliss Roofing, we prepare our customers up front for the timeframe to expect, as well as what will be needed in regards to driveway space. Trucks coming and leaving the premises are a part of the installation process and we want that to go as smoothly as possible for everyone involved.
Customers are #1We aim for continuous improvement of the quality and value of the products and services we offer. Our commitment and expertise have given us the opportunity to experience ongoing growth.
Our team of professional roofers follows strict adherence to manufacturers’ installation guidelines, thus allowing us to offer a lifetime warranty on materials and installation.
As an experienced roofing company, we know that a quality roofing job starts with the right materials. That’s why we use top-grade materials from manufacturers with a proven track record for excellence.
Garliss Roofing understands our trade, and we also understand people and their needs. We’re proud of our experienced roof installers, our high-quality materials, and our efficient standard of work. We’re also proud of the fact that we work hard at communicating to customers and helping them get through this period of time when the roof is being installed.

Jody and Lisa were very responsive and knowledgeable
Jody and Lisa were very responsive and knowledgeable. They helped walk me through the whole process. Their team was quick (one-day job) and they cleaned up the site after their work so it looked like they were never there. Highly recommend." - Nick F.
Thank you Garliss Roofing for your honesty and your advice!
I highly recommend this company. After contacting Garliss Roofing, they immediately contacted me back and scheduled a time for someone to come out and look at my roof. Well, what I thought was a problem ended up not being a problem at all. Thanks to Jody for being honest with me about what I thought was a chunk of my roof missing, it was not. Jody Garliss patiently explained to me about my roof and how it works. And also what I thought were cracks ended up being just dirt lines. He actually took the time, got a ladder, and checked the spots out to make sure they weren't cracks. It was just dirt. In today's world where companies and people are so dishonest and quick to take your money, it's great to find an honest company that doesn’t do that. And he gave me advice on who I can get to clean my gutters which I need also. Thank you Garliss Roofing for your honesty and your advice!" - Valerie E.
